Rotary Junior Endeavour Awards...

The following is a brief overview of the Rotary Junior Endeavour Awards.

Started in 1987, Thirsk Rotary Club began to present an award to each of the primary schools in our community.

The award is made to a Year 6 pupil as part of The Leavers Assembly to the pupil who this year, in the eyes of the school staff, has made the greatest contribution to the life and wellbeing of the school and its pupils.

Not necessarily to be an award for academic achievement or sporting prowess, but a recognition of thoughtfulness, caring, kindness and perhaps personal achievement possibly in the face of adversity.
